Robert, along with his brother Roger now own Braun’s is BICYCLES with retail & service operations in both Kitchener and Guelph Ontario Canada, an extensive online presence with Brauns Online and a very active eBay store called BraunsBicycles.

Having grown up in the business started by his grandparents and later developed by his parents, Robert has experienced many diverse parts of the bicycle business. It started when he was put to work in the back shop with minor bike repairs, up to the point now where Robert gives leadership to the family’s vast bicycle interests.

From spending time designing bicycles for suppliers to caring for the future development of the company’s communications needs, life is every changing. Today Robert spends much of his time in strategic directions, product development and marketing for the family’s companies.

For leisure time, Robert enjoys cycle touring and camping with his wife and kids.

Canada Day – Eh! Perfect day for a Ride.

I jump out of bed. I’m going to be late for work! Wait – It’s Canada Day. No work, it’s my day to enjoy being a Canadian. OK, Yes, lets go biking. An hour later I have son Aaron and his friend Jordan ready to hit the pavement for a ride through the streets and roads of our amazing Region of Waterloo, Ontario.

Tires pumped, water bottles filled (yes Jordan you must take water with you), helmets, gloves, sunglasses on and we are ready to hit the streets.
