One way to beat the early onset winter blahs is to check out the cool new bikes for 2012 and get excited for next season. To help this along we’ve gotten in a number of awesome bikes that are drool worthy and as good as Vitamin D in battling the effects of seasonal affected disorder.
Eye candy that can be your road candy for Canadian
Here is a list of the hotrods we’ve just gotten in.
When looking for a bike that will actually make you faster on the triathlon or time trial course look no further than the Argon 18 E-118. There is so much going on with this bike to cut through the wind that it boggles the mind.
UCI legal frame that has been shaped and tweaked to slide like butter through the wind while still handling well.
Aero fork with external steerer tube to further improve the aerodynamic profile.
Integrated aero bar, base bar and stem. Because it all works together you get tunable fit with optimized aerodynamics.
3D head tube allowing for the stack height to be tuned to the rider without sacrificing strength and safety.
Custom aerobrakes that are easy to adjust ( doesn’t seem like a big deal until you have to adjust the brakes on an tri bike. Most are a nightmare to adjust and don’t work very well.)

Roth who will be one of the leaders of Spidertech next season powered his Argon 18 Gallium Pro to take victory in what will probably be his last race of the year.
Ryan Roth, of Team Spidertech powered by C10, finished 10th in the 8.3 km prologue of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge in Colorado yesterday within a couple of seconds of Tour de France winner Cadel Evans. Roth was born in Kitchener and lives in Cambridge so we’ve got a hometown boy to cheer for who is beating world class racers you’ve seen in the Tour. A couple of years ago he was winning the Ontario Provincials and now he’s racing against and beating some of the best in the world.

In this post, I hope to identify and distinguish between the different bikes that are available and the applications and riding styles for which they are designed. This can be significant when looking at purchasing a bike or when determining if the bike you have is the correct one for you. Read More …
